Manuscript Guidelines
The Indian Journal of Social Sciences Research and Analytics is an online, peer-reviewed, open-access journal that aims to foster critical scholarship and advanced research across disciplines within the social sciences. The journal welcomes original, unpublished, and high-quality research contributions that advance theoretical, empirical, or methodological knowledge in the field of social sciences.
Scope of Submission:
Indian Journal of Social Sciences Research and Analytics accepts research articles, review papers, case studies, and book reviews within the broad scope of social sciences, including but not limited to sociology, political science, education, economics, anthropology, public policy, and development studies.
Manuscript Preparation Guidelines:
Authors must adhere to the following standards while preparing their manuscripts:
Language and Formatting
- Manuscripts must be written in clear and grammatically correct English or Hindi.
- Use Times New Roman, font size 12, 1.5 line spacing, with standard 1-inch margins for English.
- Use Kokila/Unicode, font size 16, 1.5 line spacing, with standard 1-inch margins for Hindi.
- Manuscripts should range between 3,000 to 5,000 words with references.
Structure of the Manuscript
- Title Page (Title, Author(s), Affiliation, Email, and Contact No.)
- Abstract (250-350 words with 3–7 keywords)
- Introduction
- Literature Review
- Methodology
- Results and Discussion
- Conclusion and Implications
- References (APA 7th Edition)
- Appendices (if applicable)
- Originality and Research Ethics
- Acknowledgement
- Funding Details (if applicable)
Other Important Guidelines
- Submitted manuscripts must be original and not under review or published elsewhere.
- A duly signed Author Declaration Form must accompany each submission.
- Authors are responsible for obtaining permissions for any third-party content.
- Authors are solely responsible for submissions that must not exceed 10% similarity.
- Only those who have made significant contributions to the research should be listed as authors.
- The corresponding author must ensure all co-authors have reviewed and approved the final manuscript.
- All potential conflicts of interest must be disclosed.
- Authors are solely responsible for the integrity and accuracy of their work.
- Manuscripts must be submitted in Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) format using the official template provided on the journal’s website.
- Include complete author details (Name, Designation, Institution, Email, and Contact Number) in the body of the email.
- All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review process.
- The editorial board may request revisions to uphold academic and ethical standards.
- Decisions made by the editorial committee regarding acceptance or rejection are final.
- Articles will be published under a Creative Commons license (unless otherwise stated).
- Any breach of guidelines or misconduct may lead to blacklisting and retraction of the manuscript.
